Prof .Dr .Med Marc Oliver Grimm

🔹Prof. Dr. med. Marc-Oliver Grimm has been the Director of the Department of Urology at the University Hospital Jena since October 2010.

🔹He completed his urological specialist training, earned his doctoral degree, and completed his habilitation at the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf.

🔹From 2006 to 2010, he continued his role as Senior Consultant at the Department of Urology of the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden.

🔹His primary areas of scientific focus include clinical studies in renal, bladder, and prostate cancer, as well as translational research with an emphasis on biomarkers in renal cell carcinoma and non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer.

🔹Prof. Dr. Grimm is a member of the German guideline committees for prostate and bladder cancer and the Scientific Office of the European Association of Urology.

🔹He currently serves as a board member of the German Society of Urology and the EAU-Section of Oncological Urology (ESOU).
